This is a much watch for all from its captivating special effects to the wonderful acting of Pedro Pascal and Bell Ramsey who take the series that level higher. I loved this show and can’t recommend it enough. From the first episode you are hooked!"

Teen Miles Morales becomes the Spider-Man of his universe and must join with five spider-powered individuals from other dimensions to stop a threat for all realities.

It was the first animated film in the Spider-Man franchise.

Jan (Age 12): ★★★★1/2

"I really enjoyed this film!!! The animation was amazing!!!! Miles Morales was cool, Peter Parker was pretty good, Spiderman Noir (had the best suit in my opinion) was great, Spider-ham was cringe (in a good way), Gwen was okay, and Peni was mediocre. I loved the way the put a cartoon animal, an anime-style character, and a normal 3d character, in the same film without it looking strange. The only bad part of this movie is that 'uncle Aaron' was the prowler, this confused me, why was he working for Kingpin?

Kingpin was a weird character as his head was sticking out of his chest!?!?!!

Overall, a cool film, I can't wait for 'Spider-Man across the spider-verse'."

Streaming - Netflix

Award-winning sci-fi drama starring Millie Bobbie Brown, Winona Ryder and David Harbour. Season 4:

Daniel - ★★★★★

"Stranger things season four was amazing.

It had great action with good drama and amazing characters. One of my favourite parts of it is that there is always multiple stories going on at once in different parts of the world. I also thought that it had a few plot twists which were extremely surprising. My favourite character by a lot is Steve because he is funny and really cool.

Over all stranger things season 4 was a great season with action, comedy and drama."

Streaming Disney+ - Ant-Man Friday 21st June, BBC1, 10:50pm

Jan (Age 12): ★★★★

"Decent film, decent characters, decent story, and decent villian. If you can't tell from the last sentence, this was a dejkm]ent movie. I like these characters; Luis (he was hilarious), Dave, Scott Lang, and Hank Pym. Paxton was weird, Darren Cross was boring to watch, and Hope Pym was dramatic and not very entertaining to watch. I love the Ant-Man suit, it looks better than Captain America's, Falcon's, and War Machine's suit. The yellow-jacket was pretty cool, but the guy under the mask was disappointing. I think that Ant-Man will be great as an Avenger!

To be honest, this film was not as good as I expected, especially for the standards of a Marvel movie. Next I'm watching Captain America: Civil War."

Jan (Age 12): ★★★1/5

" To be honest, I didn't really like this film. The story was good, but the fight scenes, and the enemies (who the sorcerers were fighting), weren't entertaining to watch. The zealots were stranger then Doctor Strange, they look like they have a black eye, on both of their eyes. They were creepy...

Strange himself was a good character played by a great actor, but Murdo, the Ancient One, and Christine were mid. Wong was kinda funny, I liked him. Dormammu was weird, I think he was meant to be like that, a classic villain; really big, deep voice, and a lot of power. This was boring.

Strange's paralyzed hands was a good touch, and I think it came along nicely, as he arrived at Kamar-Taj.

Overall a mediocre movie, I am looking forward to Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2, hopefully it's better."

Jan (Age 12): ★★★★1/2

"I really enjoyed this film, it was great. Peter Quill was brilliant, Rocket the Raccoon was hilarious, Baby Groot was awesome, Mrs Smurf (Nebula) was creepy, Mrs Shrek (Gamora) was a bit overdramatic in my opinion, Drax was weird but sometimes quite funny, Yandu was really good, Quill's dad (Ego) was terrifying, Mantis was strange.

The storyline was brilliant, finding out about Quill's parentage, yet still saving the galaxy. I love Baby Groot, he is hilarious, but still pretty cool. Rocket and Quill's arguments were entertaining to watch, I don't think what the result of Rocket's theft was good for the Guardians.

Overall, a pretty good film, which was a bit overdramatic. I'm watching 'Spiderman Homecoming' next"

Jan (Age 12): ★★★★★

"I love this film!!! This movie is about Peter Parker becoming an Avenger, and it shows the 'friendly neighbourhood Spiderman' becoming more of a worldwide superhero. Tony Stark, Happy Hogan, Captain America (in his wierd educational videos), Aunt May, Ned, Flash, the villian who looked like a modern version of green goblin, and Peter, were all perfect!

The action scenes were brilliant and the storyline was flawless. To be honest, there isn't anything bad to say about this film. I really enjoyed watching all the different suits Peter used, and the one at the end which Tony Stark revealed looked awesome!!

Overall, a perfect film for someone like me, if you like any marvel films, then you'll love this one!! 'Thor: Ragnarok' is next."

Thor: Ragnarok

Jan (Age 12): ★★★★1/2

"Hulk is back in the MCU! I loved this film. The story was excellent and the cast did great.

I think seeing that other side of Odin before his passing was a brilliant touch to the film. The power of Hela was scary, she broke Mjolnir. This made me depressed, I think that a Thor with no Mjolnir is like a sandwich without cheese, it just doesn't work.

The film was a tad overdramatic in scenes, but this wasn't bad enough to ruin the film (or my review).

I can't wait to watch Black Panther next!"

Black Panther

Jan (Age 12): ★★★★1/2

"Brilliant film! I really enjoyed watching it. T'challa and T'chaka were played perfectly. Most characters were great, but Klaue was weird. Killmonger was amazing, his personality was weird but it became clear in the end who he exactly was. Agent Ross was okay, Nakia was mid, Shuri was pretty good, and M'baku was kinda confusing, but he still was great.

I loved how wakanda was a hidden metropolis, how they hid themselves, and how reluctant they were to share all of their vibranium.

Overall, it was an amazing film, with few strange characters, and a brilliant superhero at the center of it all. Next I'm watching Avengers: infinity war."

Infinity War

Jan (Age 11): ★★★★★

"Amazing movie! I loved every second of it! My favourite characters in this film were Peter Parker ( Spider-Man), Tony Stark( Iron Man), Vision, Steve Rogers( Captain America), and Peter Quill( Star Lord). The last few scenes, in my opinion, were the best, as they were action-packed and full of drama. Thanos is a scary figure in this film, but Thor is incredibly powerful - he got closer to killing Thanos than any other Avenger or Gaurdian. The film was great all-round. There wasn't a moment i didn't enjoy watching. I am watching Ant man and the Wasp next, I hope it is going to be an awesome film!"

Endgame

Mylo (Age 13) - ★★★★★

"This film was very entertaining and was full of brilliant action filled scenes. I thoroughly enjoyed it and was intrigued by the plot that thickened with every minute that passed by. The film was filled with many sad moments but and had an end that left you wanting more but overall, I thought that this film was great."
