MIX UP REVIEWS:

Ethan (Age 8) - ★★★★★

"I went to Sleeping Beauty and it was really cool in the inside it was pink, purple.

t smelled really sweet .

The seats were amazing because they were cushiony ones.

It was just like a movie theatre.

It was packed full and it felt amazing.

My least favrourte character is Caraboss... the EVIL WITCH!

My favourite character is Duncan.

My favourite scene is when Duncan and his Mum were throwing cream and the mother slipped on more cream with the bowl of cream and got splattered with cream!

I loved it."

Ethan's Dad - ★★★★★

"We were lucky enough to go to Sleeping Beauty's first night.

A slight delay to the start meant increased anticipation within the audience and the occasional well delivered ad-libbed line about how pushed for time the cast were.

The set design and lighting was very clever and took you off to the world of Dysart Castle effortlessly. Jokes about the local towns and villages and of course, dastardly Dunfermline, were abound and well thought out. The set pieces were imaginative, adventurous and in the world of panto, more than a little daring. The invisible character on stage that only the audience and Fairy Bunty could see was very good, especially when the cast had to remind both the audience (and each other) that she was invisible. As a side note, Caraboss's singing voice is superb... it actually felt wrong to boo her!

If you're on the fence about going along this year to watch it, then hop off and pop along. It's colourful, silly, tongue in cheek and loud... some of the jokes don't work which means the one's that do are all the better. In short, it's all the things a good panto should be.

I thought it was excellent and my kids loved it! Great start to Christmas."
