Theatre REVIEW: Shrek the Musical - ★★★★★

The Bohemians present Shrek The Musical

A big, green, terrifying ogre living alone on a swamp doesn’t sound like a fairy tale hero, but then, this is no ordinary fairy tale! When your travelling companion is a wisecracking Donkey, the feisty princess Fiona needs rescuing from a fire-breathing dragon, you’re surround by fairy tale misfits and the bad guy is the vertically challenged, short tempered ruler of Duloc, that calls for a real hero...and his name is Shrek!

Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Tony Award-winning Shrek The Musical brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life and proves there's more to the story than meets the ears!

"Shrek the Musical is based on a film called Shrek (if you didn’t know). Anyway, it is a funny adventure about an ogre named Shrek, and Donkey, who is a donkey. It has very good songs. My favourite character was Donkey. Donkey is funny, cool and silly. I give it five stars. GET OOT ME SWAMP!!!"
