Theatre REVIEW: Murder for Two - ★★★★★

Puts the laughter in manslaughter!

An anarchic musical murder mystery with a twist: one actor investigates the crime, whilst the other plays all the suspects… and they play the piano throughout!

When the body of an acclaimed novelist is discovered at his birthday party, all the guests fall under suspicion. Can local police officer and wannabe detective, Marcus, solve the mystery before the experts arrive?

With live music and side-splitting entertainment, Murder for Two will keep you guessing until the final note.

For ages 12+

Presented by Chipping Norton Theatre Ltd.

MIX UP REVIEWS:

Jan (Age 12) - ★★★★1/2

"This show was great, it combined two of my favourite genres; music and comedy. It was hilarious, really impressive for a play that only consists of two actors. Both of them were very skilled at playing the piano. I really enjoyed the duets and solos they played, the piano was accompanied by excellent singing.

The set was rather interesting, it showed the inside and outside of the house, with some interesting props like a chimney that produced real smoke.

The story was great, but I found it confusing at times. I didn't really understand how many characters there were in the house, as one of the actors was playing them all, apart from the detective. Nevertheless, both actors were amazing!

Overall, I think this show is brilliant, it has great music, it is super entertaining, and is hilarious. I recommend this show to anyone who loves comedy."
