MIX UP REVIEWS
Sunday 28th November: Sandy, Erynn and Mix Up Theatre teacher Stewart.
Sandy (Age 8) - ★★★★★
'I enjoyed Sleeping Beauty because it was very finny with very good actors and very funny actors speaking of which the best actor who played Muddles. He was the best actor because he was very funny. The best scene was when Muddles and the Queen war singing to annoy the Queen's sister LOL!'
Erynn (Age 8) - ★★★★★
'It was really nice and funny, the characters were so expressive!'
Stewart - ★★★★★
'The King's Theatre always pretty much guarantees a brilliant day/night out at the Panto. It's Scottish Panto at the absolute top of its game. It's a total hoot the whole way through with the play on Scottish phrases, tongue twisters and the classic play on word jokes always working the best. There was a few hiccups along the way as the cast broke character and caught the giggles but that's what makes it so much fun.
There's plenty of rude jokes that go over the kids heads, a fun sea shanty about life in lockdown and plenty of opportunities for the audience to get involved. Towards the end there is a lovely homage to the late Andy Gray who sadly passed away earlier this year. He was a stalwart of the King's Pantos and his spirit lives on in this brilliant cast of characters who rip the house down with another fabulous panto. The perfect Christmas entertainment for any age - go see it!'
