The double Olivier and Tony award-winning West End and Broadway smash-hit tours the UK and Ireland for the first time.
Celebrated playwright Conor McPherson (The Weir, The Seafarer) boldly reimagines the legendary songs of Bob Dylan, like you’ve never heard them before, in Girl From The North Country. A heart-breaking and universal story about family and love, hailed by the Observer as the 'NO.1 THEATRE SHOW OF THE YEAR'.
It’s 1934 in the heartland of America and we meet a group of wayward souls who cross paths in a time-weathered guesthouse. Standing at a turning point in their lives, they realize nothing is what it seems. But as they search for a future, and hide from the past, they find themselves facing unspoken truths about the present.
Now audiences in the UK have the chance to experience this 'magnificent' (Standard), 'astonishing' (Guardian) and 'piercingly beautiful' (Independent) production brought vividly to life by an extraordinary company of actors and musicians.

A heartbreaking musical with a powerful ending
"“The girl from the north country” tells the story of members of a 1930s boardinghouse in a brisk and cold depression-era Minnesota- a place where everyone is trying to make ends meet. Also set to the music of the brilliant Bob Dylan (including 20 of his songs) which provides a great backdrop.
Whilst having a rocky start in act 1, the show found its feet in act 2, using brilliant songs and dance numbers to give a conclusion to the characters’ stories.
The creative use of shadowing and mesmerizing lighting just made the show next level. It was clear a lot of thought went into the production for each scene.
Complete with humour, heartbreak and powerful renditions of Bob Dylan’s greatest hits, “The girl from the north country” Is a must watch."
