We'll be devising our own show based on Greek Myths & Legends....
As well as amazing tales of human endurance, the ancient Greeks came up with some BRILLIANT MONSTERS!
MEDUSA - THE GORGONS
The GORGONS were female monsters, the most famous of whom was MEDUSA. She had SNAKES FOR HAIR and could TURN A MAN TO STONE if he looked at her. She was killed by the hero PERSEUS who used his shiny shield as a mirror so he didn't have to look at her directly while he chopped off her head.
Apparently, Medusa's hairdresser was delighted at this outcome. It was simply impossible to style those snakes into any kind of fashionable look, even with loads of hairspray.
