This year the festival is on a smaller scale and has a number of unique online streaming performances. Therefore this year our Fringe Camp will have some Watch Parties at our venue as well as our day trips out.

MONDAY 9th August

2:00pm - WATCH PARTY - King John
King Richard the Lionheart is dead. His younger brother John takes the throne for himself. But he's not the only one with a claim. How far will he go to cling to his power? Wars and weddings, and kings and karaoke – Shakespeare’s most overlooked play is taking the spotlight! 2:00pm - WATCH PARTY - My Left Nut
400 milliliters. That's how much liquid was drained from Michael's left testicle when he was a teenager. That's more than a can of coke. He should have told someone sooner, but who could he turn to? His dad died ten years ago, and besides, school is full of rumours about what the giant bulge in his trousers actually is. Who wants to stop that? The true story of a Belfast boy growing up with no father to guide him through and a giant ball.

1:30pm - THEATRE TRIP - Hyenas!
The Hyenas are taking you out-out on the hen do of your life! So buckle up and suck into that polyester dress! Expect audience participation, crap karaoke and pray we make it out alive! ***** (NorthWestEnd.co.uk). **** (AYoungerTheatre.com). Produced by award-winning Sugar Butties, Hyenas! is a feminist dark comedy focusing on themes of mental illness.
3:00pm - WATCH PARTY - We Missed You
A theatrical film about the impact of the pandemic through the eyes of clowns. Harlequin and Pierrot guide us on the journey of loss and hope. 'An absolute blast' **** (AYoungerTheatre.com). 'Laughter and joy transcend the screen' (Stage). 'Profound and heartfelt' ***** (BlizzardComedy.co.uk). From the winners of Best Comedy at the Brighton Fringe, Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality and Off-West End Award nominee. The film is based on real-life interviews. It's bingo with loads and loads of prizes. You get two bingo tickets as part of your entry. If you bring a wrapped prize, you get another ticket. Take your seats, get your dobber ready and let the winning begin. Jes is your game show host. He has crazy bingo variations like you've never seen before. Let's take the excitement through the roof! Oh, did I mention that there are loads of prizes? Just saying, because there are loads of prizes.
3:00pm - WATCH PARTY - Taiwan Season: ai-sa-sa
Taiwan Season: Tjimur Dance Theatre. This new show ai~ sa sa by Tjimur Dance Theatre, is the first contemporary dance company dedicated to Paiwan culture in Taiwan. It brims with love and laughter, is essentially light-hearted and domestic, and is also a fresh contemporary spin on tribal customs.

Showcasing the top spoken word talent the festival has to offer – from the laugh-out-loud funny, through the wonderfully surreal, to the thoughtful and emotional – Loud Poets continue to prove that spoken word has something for everyone. Each night features a unique line-up and Loud Poets’ classic fist-thumping, pint-drinking, side-tickling, heart-wrenching style of spoken word! This is poetry for the masses!
