Bruce Banner, a scientist on the run from the U.S. Government, must find a cure for the monster he turns into whenever he loses his temper.
The film received praise for its action sequences and was considered an improvement over the 2003 film, but it was criticized as generic and lacking in depth. Norton disagreed with Marvel over the final edit of the film and was replaced in the role of Banner by Mark Ruffalo for future MCU content starting with The Avengers in 2012.

"Incredible Hulk was a mediocre film.
I think at sometimes there was to much dialog making it feel kind off boring and a drag.
I think when It was there the action was good and I also liked all the different characters I enjoyed the story line of him at the drink factory and how his blood got in the bottle.
Over all I think that this movie could have been better in some aspects but was good in other."

"The best scenes were; Bruce's escape from Brazil after being tracked down, Bruce trying to find Betty, Bruce meeting Stan, Bruce's reunion with Betty, Hulk Vs Blonsky, Bruce and Betty escaping General Ross, Blonsky somehow surviving after Hulk kicking him, Betty raging at the cab driver in Manhattan (the funniest part of the movie), Mr Green meeting Mr Blue, the massive fight at the end between Hulk and the transformed Blonsky, and the scene at the very end with Tony Stark. I really enjoyed this movie but I preferred Iron Man.
The only downside to this film was the first half hour, because it was too confusing, I found it hard to understand. 'My favourite character top 3 of this movie' is:
1. Hulk
2. Blonsky
3. General Ross
Overall a great film which I really enjoyed watching!"

The Hulk returned more successfully to the MCU recast with Mark Ruffalo taking the role for the Avengers movies. William Hurt returns frequently to the MCU as well as General Ross including in Captain America: Civil War.
For more reboots of a series check out Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens which picks up nicely after the original series. Man of Steel rebooted the Superman franchise and The Amazing Spider-Man rebooted Spider-Man.
And Guardians of the Galaxy is another Marvel masterpiece!
