MIX UP REVIEWS:

Stewart - ★★★★★

"First off the film is really long so get ready for a lengthy watch. However it's excellent, you get soaked up in the Gotham atmosphere. Cast are all excellent with Colin Farrell doing a cartoony DeNiro take on the Penguin which is a lot of fun. The music and look of the film are all excellent. Dark Knight is my favourite movie so I was unsure if a new Batman would be any good - or even needed! But this was excellent!"

Daniel - ★★★★

"I’m a big fan of the Batman films but this was very different from the others. First Bruce Wayne was always quite quiet and melancholy and was very different from Christian Bale’s performance as the character. Aside from this the acting was enjoyable the action was terrific and the Riddeler was a great villain because he was scary and extremely smart and cunning. My favourite character was Batman and my second favourite was commissioner Gordon.

Overall this film was very enjoyable but was very different from the Dark Knight trilogy and other Batman films."

The Dark Knight Trilogy (Batman Begins (2005)/The Dark Knight (2008)/The Dark Knight Rises (2012)) is an excellent Batman trilogy and there's also a number of excellent Batman animated movies and series available. Arrow works with a similar storyline of a billionaire fighting crime. Meanwhile Colin Farrell and Zoe Kravitz can both be found in the Harry Potter prequel, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. There's another one arm army to be found with John Wick. Meanwhile Robert Pattinson is maybe playing a bat here but he voices a bird, the heron, in the new Hayao Miyazaki movie, The Boy and the Heron.
