The writers of the movie were involved in the MCU Spider-Man movies including Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). Check out Jack Black in Kung Fu Panda and Super Mario Bros. Movie.and Karen Gilian in Guardians of the Galaxy. The original Jumanji is definitely fun to check again as is the sequel to this one The Next Level. Also have a look at Love and Monsters and Free Guy for fun films with the same kind of vibe. There's a more adult take on a ragtag bunch of heroes in The Suicide Squad.
