MIX UP REVIEWS:

Stewart - ★★★★

"Elegantly crafted but a sombre tale of a young woman who has her newborn child taken from her at a fake clinic and the struggle to get any assistance in getting her back. It's a quiet solemn tale which has a documentary feel to proceedings which is testament to the work of the actors and the director. The subplot of the gay journalist as well is a telling tale of the difficulties of finding love in a dangerous world and career. A memorable piece of filmmaking from a world not many of us will experience."

Whilst Song Without a Name is a small independent film it's themes can be found in the biggest of blockbusters and some of our favourite movies. There's trauma and coming to terms with sexuality in Bohemian Rhapsody and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Corruption from above is rife in Gotham in The Dark Knight trilogy. There's pregnant heroine's in Juno, The Help and even Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Meanwhile Frodo is the unlikely hero from a humble home taking on a great evil in The Lord of the Rings.
